    Analysis of characteristic water levels in key riverside towns of the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, Fujian Province

    • In order to improve the flood monitoring and early warning capacity of important towns along the river in Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone of Fujian Province, six typical rivers were taken as the research objects, based on the basin characteristic parameters, combined with the measured data, the design rainstorm and design peak discharge were analyzed and calculated; Using hydraulic methods to calculate the water level line of the river channel, and combining with the analysis of the engineering conditions along the river channel to determine the characteristic water level of the pilot zone. The research results can provide reference for flood monitoring and early warning, flood control and moisture-proof scheduling, and water resource planning and management of key rivers in the pilot zone.
