Review on the development of standing survey, patrol survey and telemetry of hydrological survey in China—Taking Zhejiang Province as an example

Hydrological survey is the basis of hydrological work and the basis of decision-making on flood control and drought relief. With the progress of science and technology, the continuous development of hydrological measurement technology, the timeliness of hydrological measurement is becoming higher and higher, and the number of test stations and items is increasing, which has laid a solid foundation for the development of hydrological modernization. Over the past 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the way of hydrological survey in China has changed fundamentally from standing survey, patrol survey to telemetry. Taking Zhejiang hydrologic survey as an example, this paper reviews the hydrologic survey technology of station survey, patrol survey and telemetry, providing reference for the development of hydrologic cause.
