Abstract:
From July 29 to August 2, 2023, under the influence of Typhoon 2305 "Doksuri", Beijing suffered a rare extremely heavy rainstorm in history, the city's water facilities faced severe tests, and the Ming Shisanling-Tombs Reservoir basin also suffered from beyond-standard designed floods.In order to ensure the safety of the reservoir and downstream , the reservoir management department organized professional technical personnel to prepare and inspect the reservoir gate, open the gate for flood discharge, and control the flow opening in accordance with the flood scheduling plan and superior instructions.The first flood discharge of the reservoir in nearly 25 years was implemented, and the scientific scheduling of the flood was carried out.By the Introduction of the relevant situation of the "23.7" watershed catastrophic flood, as well as the gate operation of the Shisanling Reservoir before, during, and during the flood discharge period, and the gate operation and scheduling are further analyzed.Analysis shows that timely interception and staggered flood discharge have played an important role in successfully resisting floods and have reference significance in flood work.
