Abstract: Affected by geographical latitude, topography, hydrological and meteorological factors, floods and droughts disasters frequently occur in Shandong province. Flood control and drought relief supplies play a crucial role in reducing flood and drought disasters and ensure the healthy development of the economy and society. At present, the allocation and operation of storage still use the traditional management method. Therefore, the construction of the information system for managing flood control and drought relief supplies is particularly urgent and necessary. This paper analyzes current situation and issues of the information management system for flood control and drought relief materials storage in Shandong Province; construction plan for the information management system is initially proposed. It may provide a reference for construction of similar systems in other provinces.
