Abstract: Abstract：The construction of Yellow River - to Tianjin City water diversion project was authorized by the State Council and the Ministry of Water Resources for the emergency water supply. The various water delivery conflicts and issues gradually appeared during five years of operation, including flow insufficiency in water way, water supply conflicting with local interests, ice dangerous, water quality safety, and water supply management. Based on field investigation results and comprehensive opinions in all aspect, the countermeasures are proposed focusing on resolving those problems, the experience benefit upcoming water diversion projects.
