Abstract: The joint operation of multi-reservoirs in the Jialing River Basin is an important measure to ensure the flood control safety of the Jialing River Basin, which can scientifically coordinate the flood control needs between the Jialing River Basin and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. This paper analyzes the flood control system and flood control status of the main stream in the middle and lower reaches of the Jialing River. On the basis of summarizing the current flood control problems in the basin, the preliminary discussion on the flood control joint operation strategy of the cascade reservoirs in the middle and lower reaches of the Jialing River is carried out. In addition, the direction and suggestions of the joint operation are proposed to further promote the joint operation of cascade reservoirs and guarantee the flood control safety of the basin and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
